Yes, yes, yes....I haven't posted in awhile, but there's not much going on, other than I ripped Jimmy's camp director a new one, but I'm too tired tonight to go into that tonight so I'll save that one for another day.

I had my "real" appointment with Dr. Kozuch last Monday....not this past Monday, but the previous one. Now I feel like there's an apple in my throat and every time I swallow, the food is moving around the apple. It's beyond uncomfortable. I used to have a problem like this years ago but back then it felt like a grapefruit, so I guess this is an improvement....my fruit is getting smaller. I took drugs for it for many years but those drugs have been pulled from the market. The last time I had a gastroenterologist he told me my only other option was surgery, and I said, bullshit....I'll get the drugs I need from Mexico. So that's what I've been doing. Since I've been on the bipolar meds, though, I haven't had an issue and I was able to drop the Mexican meds...and then came c-diff. That sounds like a song lyric....And Then Came C-Diff...So tests are in my future. Oh, and I also got copies of my records from my old gastroenterologist to bring along to Dr. Kozuch because she had asked to see them. After perusing them I discover I have a 2.8 cm cyst that showed up in a scan from 2003....that no one bothered to tell me about. So now it's 2007 and the thing's had four years to fester. I wonder how big it is now? Well, I look at it this way....it can't be that big of a deal. I'm still here, right?

After Dr. Rivera was unable to do Jim's manometry test we were supposed to hear back from Dr. Speigel about an alternative test. We have heard nothing, and at this point I'm too tired to call. Jim has an appointment this Friday and we can find out our next steps then. I also need to get a hold of the out-of-network dentist that Dr. Drain sent Jim's panoramic x-ray to because I need to get that x-ray back. We have to bring it to the appointment Jim has at the end of the month with the new specialist who's IN network.

Jim's still coughing up crud. He's using his nebulizer treatments from time to time to help with the breathing but he's not doing it as often as he should.
